Design Lab courses take a ‘hands-on’ approach to teaching students the skills necessary to succeed in the fashion industry. To stimulate students’ creativity, Vantan encourages them to take part in many school-sponsored shows and events throughout the year. Many of these shows and events are judged by well-known industry professionals and provide our students with the opportunity to meet top professionals.

Vantan’s Hairstyling & Makeup Lab. offers students the rare opportunity to learn on-the-job. Through internships in hair and make-up salons and agencies, Vantan’s students learn not only technique but also business skills that make them attractive candidates for salons and agencies upon graduation.

In Interior Lab, students study interior design and merchandizing. Upon graduation, our Interior Lab students are employed not only by interior design companies, but also magazines and other life-style oriented media.

Photography Lab teaches photography through long-term projects and simulated photo sessions. We believe that this is the best way to develop technique and an understanding of fashion photography.

This course utilizes Vantan’s strength in fashion, hairstyling and makeup design and challenges students to put together large-scale events such as a weddings.

Starting in 2007, Vantan will offer the Double School Program (DS Program) which is specifically designed for students who wish to pursue a degree at Vantan while attending another school.

The Joint Curriculum: Vantan is proud to offer a study abroad program at one of the world's most prestigious fashion design schools in London. We hope students will take advantage of this opportunity to live and learn in a culture different from their own and expand their horizons.
